We recently hired two new people at Colley Insurance. Pierce and Abby are both 24 years old and have probably had a similar reaction to what Owen’s friends have in the following video.

Owen gets to do some pretty cool and important things with his new career at GE and so will Pierce and Abby at Colley Insurance.

People don’t often think of insurance as an exciting, cutting edge industry but think of some of the innovative things that Pierce and Abby will be introduced to and the ways that they will be able to help people protect themselves and the people and things that are important to them.

As an industry we are closely following the sharing economy and trying to come up with solutions that will allow people to take advantage of opportunities like Uber and Airbnb without exposing themselves to risks that could cripple them financially. They will be introduced to products that protect people and businesses from things as diverse as Cyber risks and the changing climate. They will be exploring the uses of digital media along with traditional media to share their new careers and what they have to offer. They will be helping people to rebuild their lives after devastating losses or to live their dreams when they buy their first house or invest in a new business. They will be working on providing insurance and risk management solutions for their next door neighbor’s home, car, boat, cottage and for businesses who manufacture or provide products and services locally and around the world.
